Dear People,
Despite the Department of Parks and Wreck’s promise to shut down all city fields by now, the defiant aerobic Gods have spoken and thus all of them remain glorious and unfenced as of this pecking. SO, tomorrow’s game will be at Codornices as usual.
It’s not officially reserved and thus there is no field fee, but a contact at the city assured me Wednesday that it was not reserved by anyone else, and given the totality of the circumstances (my third favorite expression from Criminal Procedure!), my guess is that the risk of interlopers is no more than 7.03%. Regardless, backup plans are already in place, so no need to spiral into a timorous funk.
See ya tomorrow at 11 (or even better, 10:30ish for batting practice given the situation), and because churn is constant, as of now there are two slots left. Two! . . . Raymond 510-845-7552 / cell 510-677-8860
