📍 Location: Hybrid (In-Person Interview Required)

We are seeking an experienced Sr EDI Developer with strong healthcare domain expertise to support critical claims processing and EDI transaction systems. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and play a key role in the modernization of IDOH's ACAPS system to .NET.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Review and update claims processing and EDI transaction documentation
• Identify and document undocumented EDI and claims processing workflows
• Collaborate with development teams during ACAPS system modernization
• Act as liaison between technical teams and Children's Program stakeholders
• Write technical specifications based on business requirements
• Perform system testing and validation
• Manage EDI file exchanges with trading partners
• Resolve EDI transmission and claims processing issues
• Provide helpdesk support for healthcare providers
• Assist with onboarding new providers and clearinghouses

✔ Strong Database Knowledge
✔ EDI File Formats (X12, Healthcare Transactions)
✔ HIPAA Regulations
✔ Healthcare Industry Experience
✔ IBM WebSphere Experience
✔ Claims Processing Knowledge
