Dear RT News subscriber,

Most of the ray-tracing talks at SIGGRAPH and HPG are pretty clear.
Here I wanted to pass on the less-publicized events. The Birds of a
Feather, in particular, is highly recommended if you want to see the
latest systems and meet researchers. Please let me know of any other
events worth passing on to all.

GPU Ray Tracing Birds of a Feather at Siggraph 2011 in Vancouver.
Wednesday, August 10, 2:00 to 3:30 in Waterfront Ballroom B at the
Fairmont Waterfront.

Join the third annual GPU Ray Tracing Birds of a Feather session. Show
off your demos. Share your use cases, ideas, news, and gripes. High-
performance CPU ray tracing is welcome, too.

Bring a machine to show a demo on. A display or projector will be
provided.
