Log file

Hello,

I am a student who has recently tried to use RAxML for my thesis. I have a problem I can't find any solution to.

I write a command:

 ./raxml-ng -all --msa C:/Users/Paradive2/Desktop/polszewski/F/allignment.txt

The computer says:

ERROR: Cannot open the log file for writing: C:/Users/Paradive2/Desktop/polszewski/F/allignment.txt.raxml.log
Please make sure directory exists and you have write permissions for it!

But it seems I should be able to work within this directory; you can see my screens.

What should I do?

Hi Paweł,

since you are apparently running raxml-ng from withn WSL, you should fix MSA path like this:

./raxml-ng -all --msa /mnt/c/Users/Paradive2/Desktop/polszewski/F/allignment.txt
