Hi everyone,

Two years after the first release of nf-core/phyloplace, I released
2.0.0 today. Docs will be here: https://nf-co.re/phyloplace, once the
website is updated.

The pipeline is written in Nextflow and uses EPA-NG and Gappa to place
sequences in reference trees and produce some useful output files.

This release adds the capacity to act as a sequence classifier to the
pipeline. This means the user can specify a number of HMM profiles
connected to reference trees, and the pipeline will start by searching
a fasta file with unknown sequences using HMMER. Sequences that match
a profile will then be placed in the corresponding reference tree.
(HMM profiles without reference trees are also allowed. They can be
used as lures to attract false positives from other profiles, or if
one just wants to run HMMER with some profiles.)

Please sign up for the nf-core Slack if you want to discuss further:
https://nf-co.re/join/slack.

I'm happy for any comments here or at Slack!

/Daniel
