Hi,

I've used FigTree to graph my RAxML best-tree output,  In analyses that produced the best-tree I used default RAxML settings via the CIPRES portal, changing only the number of bootstraps.   The value below the FigTree scale bar is 0.06; can anyone please advise what this scale-bar value is likely to represent?

Hi John,

it is a maximum likelihood estimate of how many substitutions have
occurred on average per site between the two nodes in the tree.
