Hello respected developers. I am a student aspiring to work with Raxa and get mentored for GSoC 2015. Being an Indian myself, I find the vision of Raxa to be noble and something that I want to contribute to.

A little technical background: I am studying Computer Science at PES University and I am in my second year. I have been programming with OOP for 4 years now, and have been coding on the Android platform for 1.5 years. I have attended and made it to the finals of a couple of national level hackathons (ImpressIT by SAP, Gov of Karnataka / Women Empowerment Hackathon by SAP, NIT Trichy ) as well as international coding competitions (ATOS IT Challenge 2014, and ATOS IT Challenge 2015).

I viewed the ideas at (https://raxaemr.atlassian.net/wiki/display/RAXAJSS/GSoC+2015+Ideas+Page) and I feel that "Find a Hospital" and "Zomato for Hospitals" can be merged into a single unified application. The features I propose would be Finding Hospitals by filters mentioned, as well as user reviews for hospitals. Furthermore, for a particular hospital, we can provide API's for them to advertise the various facilities they have, the specialty departments for each, as well as doctors that man these departments. Additionally, timings for each of these doctors can be entered as well. Since we are targeting even
rural areas, we may choose to include the basic cost of these hospitals as well.
Additionally, I would like to point out a minor error in the page, as "Smart Feed", "Smart Platforms" and "Zomato for Hospitals" all have the same project objectives.

As indicated by the page, I have started learning Sencha touch, however, I feel language will not be a barrier. I am willing to put in 2-3 hours a day up till the community period ends, after which my vacations will begin, and I will put in 6-8 hours a day. If you could point me to a convenient location where we can discuss and I can get in touch with individual project mentors, I will be greatly obliged.

Looking forward to working with Raxa,
Respectfully,
Aman Achpal.
