Wow, people don't usually try to force money on me. It's actually quite nice.

Right now, it looks like setting up donation stuff takes more time than it's worth. Looks like PayPay wants proof of non-profit status (we're not). Flattr might be okay but I'd have to look into it more. And right now, it probably isn't worth it to set things up to take money from one person.

My plan is to set aside a good chunk of time I can dedicate to RawScripts exclusively, and use something like Kickstarter to fund that time. Rest assured, later this year when the Kickstarter campaign starts, you will hear from me, and I will gladly take your money.

Ritchie is there any access we can get to the rawscripts site even just for a limited time to download my scripts. Hell I'll give you money for this. I just cannot lose those scripts. So much work has gone into them. Please please please help.

Seconding this! Can we just get the site back up for like 48 hours so we can all download our scripts so we don't lose them?

Obviously bummed to have lost such a great free software, but REALLY really sad to have lost all the scripts I had on there. Put a lot of work into those. Whatever we can do to get it up for just a little bit to access and download our scripts....please!! Thank you!

That would be amazing. Just 48 hours, hell even 24 hours to get our scripts. We have all put so much work and love into these pieces. They may mean nothing to you, but they mean the world to us. I would even be willing to pay to get it back up.

Has anyone been able to get through to anyone? I'm so incredibly upset and angry that 7 years of work, dedication, and love have just been disregarded like it was nothing. I just don't understand how the creators of this site couldn't give an ounce of notice to its users.

Honestly........not sure what other options are at this point since no one seems to be responding...

Was able to find the former Terms of Use via the Wayback Machine, here they are:

"Terms of Use

By using RawScripts.com, you (the user) agree to the following: We (RawScripts.com) will not share your screenplay with anyone unless with your permission. You own the rights to a screenplay typed on RawScripts.com unless previously copyrighted by a a different party. You do not fault RawScripts.com for loss of data or screenplay(s). You assume RawScripts.com has the right to change these Terms of Use at anytime."

I understand the line reading "you do not fault RawScripts.com for loss of data or screenplay(s)," but to just revoke all access to the site with no notice is extremely unfair and inconsiderate. Correct me if I'm wrong -- nobody else received any notice before the site just shut down, right?
