I've been working on the code a bit (Spring Break!) and wanted to let you all know about the new, very specific kind of plugin system. The idea now is that users can create projects, then attach any kind of preproduction work to that project -- screenplay, schedule, call sheet, whatever. Those different materials are called "resources." And the big news is that if you want to create a new kind of resource, just need to create your html and javascript, and drop it in the folder called "resources."  Then it should pretty seamlessly hook into the Rawscripts backend for easily saving, loading, emailing, renaming, and all that.

There are only two types of resources now, "screenplay" and "titlepage." There's still work to be done, but especially if you check out /rawscripts/resources/titlepage you should see a dead simple implementation that you can follow to create your own. You could use that simple setup to create an app for storyboards, or scheduling, or a new kind of screenplay editor -- anything really.

I'll be working in the next little while to clean things up more, and document the whole thing. There are some simple API's you can tap into, and I'll write those up. Iit should be noted that they are in early stages and subject to changes. But it's getting there, so if you are so inclined, I say go for it!

Cheers
Ritchie
