Thanks. I have not used/messed with monkeybars in a while so, it is probably something really simple and stupid on my part. I don't think this is related to the rawr/jruby-1.6.x issue because I downloaded the Nested-Simple example and ran it in the same Netbeans IDE/env as my app and it worked.
It seems to me that the UI is locked like a process has not come back. I've seen this before in a pure java swing app. I'm not a fan of java, so I like to use ruby when I can; however, to pay the bill right now I'm a java swing developer. :(
Would it help if I put the code in a repo instead of a gist?
