I've used RPP for a few years now, and to my mind, there is no better RAW development tool. But (for good reasons) RPP can't do everything. For sharpening, noise reduction, cropping, lens corrections, retouching, and so on, other software is needed. I use Lightroom, PT Lens, and Affinity Photo, but I'd like to know what alternatives, if any, fellow RPP users would prefer, and why.

FastRawViewer for browsing and culling. XNViewMP for browsing (fast but not as fast as FRV and supports more files). I find myself jumping into PS CS6 and use the Nik plugins for sharpening though I been playing with Affinity Photo for about a year now.

I think that Luminar is great. It's made by some of the developers who used to be at Nik. I like the interface, noise reduction is excellent, it accepts LUTs (nice for faking "filmic" looks), has layer blending modes, and there are a lot of tools to play with.
