Hi, I understand how half (no debayering, 2x2 group 4 photosite data to single pixel) works for a typical bayer sensor, but how does it work on X-Trans? Is RPP soing some interpolation or it uses the entire 6x6 group to produce a single pixel?

For x-trans half is not the same as for traditional bayer sensors - it's averaged and interpolated. I added 2/3 method because it's closer to x-trans structure and makes better partial resolution images than half for such sensors.
