I use PTLens on MAC, if you search you must find it.
But if it hasn't been updated yet you will be missing the profiles of
some Fujifilm lenses. The owner is available to create them for you if
you send him the files executed with said lenses. On RPP it's best if
you don't use the sharpening mask. Personally I leave RPP with the L
curve, but depending on the results you want to obtain you can also
use the others, such as Film-Like and/or Film Simulations. For
Fujifilm VNG interpolation. Personally I deactivate BLUR CHROMA and
REMOVE DOT-NOISE. The rest are adjustments to your liking. The
exposure adjustment with the ZONE SYSTEM is very valid. Output in RGB
TIFF 16-bit. From my point of view, everything or almost everything
can be done in RPP, but it is not very easy, I prefer to finish the
work in Photoshop. The recovery of the lights, a rather atypical
method, is in some cases extraordinary, in others quite difficult to
manage. By clicking ENABLE in the highlight storage the exposure is
lowered, you must reward the same positive value on COMPRESSED
EXPOSURE, then compensate with GUESS TONE on the highlight storage and
adjust with Rg of COMPRESSED EXPOSURE which is set to 2.0 of default.
In practice, the management of GUESS TONE combined with the management
of Rg perfects the recovery of the lights. These functions must be
applied with the apply button at the top right.
Good work.
