The residents were compelled to take action such as filing of applications under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005, to uncover the truth when the builder began constructing stilt parking area — for sale to future flat owners within the complex — where their amenities were meant to be.
They were also critical of the commercial constructions inside the project where there was a green zone as per the original brochure. According to the members, the quality of construction was another issue over which they were fighting the builder. (DNA)
