Thanks all!  I’m also hoping we get folks from the Community Garden teams who would be willing to volunteer at the event.  Kathy W. and Matt W. were there last year.   This year we’ve got lot’s to share with the accomplishments of both RECC and MBCC Garden Teams!  We ROCK!!!  We can make all the materials and have them there.  We just need folks who would be willing to table at the event to share the great work communities can do around food systems and garden projects!

 

Susan… can we add this to the agenda for tomorrow?  I can post on the RECC FB and RECC Garden FB as well.  The event is Sat. August 27 from 9am – 4pm.    Perhaps we can do shifts?  Terri and I have to be there all day, but we are assigned to different areas as well as ours throughout the day.

Gwen is looking for people to help with educating participants at the Big Day of Play on August 27. I know Trevor mention as well about having a booth down at the event to let folks know what we are doing as well. I don't know if you were already planning on having the Sustainable group volunteering at BDoP, but I am more than willing to make contact with them if you could give me a name and number/e-mail for anyone. I don't want to add to your burden. I was hoping there were some folks with a recycling/composting focus/mission.
