Subject says it all, I think.

I fixed our replica server (had blown out to 90GB (source is 4GB), so just deleted it and started again), and document are coming in at a fairly good rate, but does it also move the indexes over from the source? Or do I have to make them manually?

Thanks

Nic

Thanks Chris. I got impatient, and made them by hand (there were only
a couple anyway!)

The reason indexes aren't replicated is you could choose to have 1 server have either different indexes or no indexes to serve different roles.

Would be nice to have the option I suppose as a configuration option?

In hindsight, I should have stopped the source server, backed it up,
moved the backup and restored it, and then setup replication. Oh,
well. We only have 5 indexes we needed to move.

But it's live, so I can't do that (and I can't back it up without
making it read only, as it's in a tenant DB.... which is a fixed
(unstable) bug... have to wait for stable)
