Not sure what version of RavenDB i'm running.

this is from the Management Portal for my RavenDB

I'm trying to find what version this is from? v3.0 or v3.5

by the numbers i'm guessing it's part of the 3.5 branch but I couldn't find anything that suggests that

Why: i need to sync up my dev (on ravenhq, if possible) and localhost versions.

3.5 is 35xxx.

I forget when 3.0 changed to 30xxx.

Yes, we feel this way too.

We never intended to run out of 4 digits versions, but daily build and CI churn through them.

I find these two pieces really confusing:

This is the version that is listed in the GUI. 99.999% of the time, i'm not looking at CI builds and pre-releases. Now that (thank <insert your fav deity here>) all the CI builds have stopped being pushed to NuGet.org (it was soooooooooooo noisy) I'm only seeing the final release numbers ... and even more so, the stable, public release numbers like 3.5.0, 3.5.1, 3.5.2, 3.5.3 .... Then i start my server and i'm all like .. HUH?

I think it's important to place the public stable version in this GUI please. Like .. before these numbers would be really really helpful.

Same goes with the console...

it's confusing again.

I just happened to see the DIRECTORY i named .. to confirm what version i'm running.

Just my thoughts :)

IIRC, we fixed it so it will include the semantic version as well in 4.0
