Localhost : 8080

Hi ,

I am able to install RavenDB 5.1.5 as windows service in test server.

I am able to browse http://localhost:8080 in server by changing below settings.

But i cannot browse http://Servername:8080 out side server.

Do i need to modify additional settings.

Hi,

Are you trying to access an unsecured server?

If so you need to allow that through the configuration https://ravendb.net/docs/article-page/4.2/csharp/server/configuration/security-configuration#security.unsecuredaccessallowed.

But it is not recommended to have access to an unsecured server for production!!!

If it is not the case what is the error you get?

Hi ,

Yes it is unsecured mode.

I have updated setup mode to None.

it is working in server as localhost.

but outside server , it is not working .

But older version Raven 3.5 it is working inside server and out side too.

In addition, just to be sure did you change "ServerUrl" to "http://{Servername}:8080"?

And check the firewall rules if you need to open ports or any other firewall issues.
