Hi

one of our live search nodes running RavenDB #2700 currently traces errors in the Windows application log and the customer database seems not to respond:

Raven (8896) 383-aCLXs-D:\SearchServiceData\Databases\PPAurubis\Data: Unable to write a shadowed header for file D:\SearchServiceData\Databases\PPAurubis\system\RVN.chk. Error -1023.

The file RVN.chk does not exist nor does the folder system.
Is there a chance that restarting the service solves the issue? Or what else can we do?

Thanks
Andy

See here:

Basically, the issue is likely some sort of permission issue.

Strange, we didn't change anything on the file system.

Meanwhile we decided to restart the service which resulted in a timeout while stopping and the service was stuck in a "stopping" state. Therefore the whole server had to be restarted and since then the Raven service seems to run fine again.
