New issue 39 by st...@opendirective.com: browse widget layout is poor in
small screen
http://code.google.com/a/apache-extras.org/p/rave-in-context/issues/detail?id=39
In 320 width portrait the item expansion layout is bad. Detaisl display
below the icon. This applies to small mobiles (eg iphone) and the wookie
test page.
Is it OK to scale the icon? The rest is fluid and as icon is fixed width
the text doesn't fit at small size.
The mockup specifies that the 'search' text and 'sort' should be side by
side at small widths. This looks awful and required going against jQuery
Mobile default layout (which seems well defined).
I proposes to undo this.
That's fine. Elizabeth has said that deviations from the mockups that are
justifiable are OK. We should not be deviating simply because we prefer one
over the other, but if it looks awful *and* goes against standard template
designs then I believe this is OK.
