On a small screen the search panel is at the top of the page and collapsed.
This has to be expanded to search. That's good.

However, when a search is performed the box remains open and one has to
scroll down to see the results, and since the results are retrieved via
Ajax there is no indication that any are ready.

The search box should be collapsed when a search is performed and the
loading graphic should be displayed.

panel when a search result is retrieved
