WhatsApp has completely evolved from just a messenger app. By introducing payments, location shareability, audio/video calls, and document attachments, the Messenger app is a one-stop solution for virtual interactions.
WhatsApp: The Meta product (formerly Facebook), WhatsApp has completely changed how people communicate with one another by making it simple to send and receive messages, make voice calls, and make video calls.
WhatsApp Business: Conversely, WhatsApp Business is a separate app created especially for companies. It provides a range of functionalities designed to improve client interaction, optimize workflow, and broaden the scope of the market.
WhatsApp is for individuals who use it for personal communication. Whereas WhatsApp Business focuses on company owners and allows them to engage with their users, as the name suggests. Both platforms can be operated via WhatsApp Web as well.
WhatsApp Business gives companies the option to set up a profile with their name, contact details, website, description, and business hours. This profile gives prospective clients important information, acting as a virtual storefront.
WhatsApp Business gives companies the ability to use labels to classify conversations and better manage their customer chats. This feature is especially helpful for companies that deal with a lot of client contacts.
WhatsApp auto-replies have proven to be an invaluable resource for upholding civility, guaranteeing security, and juggling work and personal obligations. Although auto-replies are compatible with WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business, their use and importance are different on each platform.
Automated responses are especially helpful for personal WhatsApp users when there is a lot of activity or when they are not available all the time. To be courteous and show respect for the time of others, a basic auto-reply acknowledging receipt of messages and notifying senders of the delay in response can go a long way.
For the QR code, the user has to scan the code and then initiate a chat. Every profile has a unique QR code, and you can find this in WhatsApp settings; after entering, you can notice a QR code icon beside your name.
On the other hand, only WhatsApp Business owners can generate a Shortlink from their settings and share it with their customers that they can use to start conversations with your Business account. Unlike click-to-chat, the short link is automatically generated in the app.
In WhatsApp Business, once the message is received, it will be subject to the privacy policy followed by the business. To give customers control over their communication, WhatsApp displays a message informing them that their conversations are with a WhatsApp Business account. After reading this message, users are free to continue with the conversation or block/delete the number from their contact list.
No, you cannot use the same phone number for personal and business WhatsApp. If you register for a business account using the same phone number, your personal account will be converted into a WhatsApp Business account.
You can verify your WhatsApp Business account phone number during the activation step. To verify your phone number, enter the number you want to verify and receive the verification code. You can alternatively use the Call Me feature. Enter the verification code you get in SMS or in the phone call.
New features are lined up for the business app to make it more engaging and a great tool for interacting with your customers. This app favours local business owners who have a small customer database.
The app works similarly to the private WhatsApp people use to talk to friends and family. It also offers businesses some handy additional features for efficient messaging support such as quick replies, a catalog and broadcasts.
WhatsApp Business Premium is a subscription model of WhatsApp Business that adds more features to the WhatsApp Business App. Currently, these are the two features you get with WhatsApp Business Premium:
With the connected customer messaging software, you get advanced sales and service features you can use in WhatsApp, such as intelligent routing to the most appropriate employee, automatic translations and chatbots. Also, only a WhatsApp Business Platform allows you to send approved WhatsApp promotional messages.
Costs incur according to the monthly plan price for the customer messaging software, and - if you have more than 1000 conversations per month - for the amount of conversations. But let's go through the individual costs in detail.
While you can download and set up the free WhatsApp Business App yourself, you can only get access to a WhatsApp Business Platform through a respective customer messaging provider, i.e. official WhatsApp partners.
.A paid conversation includes a 24-hour session that begins as soon as the company writes to a customer or responds to a customer message. All messages sent and received within this 24-hour service window are covered by the session fee
Example: Shoe retailer Kicks initiates the conversation with a message template (1), the customer responds a short time later with a message (2). Kicks thanks them with a session message. WhatsApp only charges for one conversation for all three messages.
If the customer were to respond 24 hours later, this message would also be free of charge, because only the company can open a new chargeable 24-hour window. If Kicks doesn't thank her until 9 a.m. the next day, it costs them one conversation and a new 24-hour window opens.
If you use up the 1000 free support conversations for the current month, charges apply that vary depending on the country and who initiates the conversation. Conversations initiated by the user, i.e. usually classic support chats, cost approx. 8 cents in the United States.
For conversations initiated by the company, WhatsApp divides it into three use cases: Utility, Authentications, and Marketing messages. Each use case has its own fee. In the United States, the costs for a utility message is about 2 cents, an authentication about 1 cent, and for marketing content about 1 cent.
Conversations in different categories can run in parallel or overlap. For example, if you answer a customer's support question at 3 p.m., a conversation in the Support category will open. If you send him a newsletter at 7 p.m., a conversation in the Marketing category will open. There is a charge for both conversations. You can send as many session messages and support templates as you like until 3 pm. the next day. And you can send as many session messages and marketing templates as you like until 7 p.m. the next day.
Nivea drives customers to its Mother's Day campaign on WhatsApp via an ad on Instagram. As this is a free entry point, there is no charge for the conversation. Nivea can now exchange messages for free for 72 hours, in this case template messages from the "Marketing" category.
If the customer hadn't been led to the campaign through one of the free entry points, an additional conversation would now open in the support category (with the associated fee). However, because the conversation was started from a free entry point, a special rule applies: you can send any template type and session messages for free for 72 hours, regardless of its content.
Markt sends the customer a shipping confirmation and includes a discount offer in the message. The conversation is then no longer categorized as a transaction, but as a marketing conversation. When two use cases are mixed in a message template, then the more expensive category always applies. This is similar to the 2-for-1 offers in fashion stores, where the price of the more expensive product is charged.
Hi, it is a known issue since versionONE UI 3.1 and so far it has not been fixed that I know of.
Therefore, while the expected solution arrives / if in the end it arrives? / We can solve the problem -migrating.
1. Make backup of cloned whatsapp.
Backup all your messages, photos, videos, documents on your device
and your Google drive.
Make sure you remember the credentials of your google account that you are using as a copy of
security.
2. Then open Play Store and download whatsappbusiness. Install, add your number
WhatsApp Dual phone number. You will receive a message asking if you want to restore your
content from a backup.
Select the directory where your backup is saved and all its content is
will restore to your account after some time depending on the size of the copy of
security taken.
The aforementioned solution is definitely a win, but still if you do not want to use WhatsApp business, there's another way around. There are many applications on Google Play Store which serve the same purpose i.e. Duplicating any application. One such application is "Parallel Space", I myself have been using it to use multiple accounts.
They still did not fix this. What a ****. Submitted as an issue and they said that it's the issue from the whatsapp but no samsung. How come one whatsapp works fine but not the dual one. Shame on samsung.
