Sorry for the relatively late notice, but we'll be having the April meetup at 2pm on Saturday. The plan is to meet at Muszeumkert, near the playground.
This is one of the meetups announced in the blog, so there are likely to be new people showing up.
In terms of topics, let's talk about whether it makes sense to stop asking if a duplicated version of you is really 'you' or not, since there is no real property that corresponds to the question of whether a digital copy or an atomic level reconstruction of your body is you. Instead we should ask what things are there that exist at the level of atoms and physics that we care about in terms of these questions. Is there something that we actually care about in the discussion of whether a teleporter that destroys the entity on one side and recreates a copy on the other side kills the person or not?
Anyways, I'm sure we'll end up talking about AI risk in the end.
I hope to see a bunch of you there on Saturday!
