Got about 2/3rds through the Book of Trickster day, for those vaguely interested in either running it in their neck of the woods, or getting a better sense of what the deal is.

I like where this is going! Random idea: One of the apples is fake plastic, the other two are different varieties so it isn't obvious.

Typos:
"Rabbit said “Oh, Farmer was made because I refused to eat melons with him. Then he stuck me over here and said he’d come back in a while to make me eat chicken with him. I told him I wouldn’t do it.”

I think it should be An. It would cohere more tightly with the metanarrative already in place.

I'm planning to run an instance of Trickster Day this April 1. Is there/will there be an updated booklet? And, will the materials specified in the original booklet be sufficient after any updates?

There will be but I'm not sure I'll have my finalized version done before late Thursday night.

I will send an update soon of the current state of the book.

As an experiment, I'm building the booklet in Keynote - the program I happen to have already that most closely matched a nice layout program which didn't depend on being-online. Keynote is $20, if you'd like a mutable version of the PDF.

Here you go. (Note, if you'd like to experience the ritual without spoilers, you may want to wait a couple days. This version of the book is also in a very half-finished state)

Thanks!

The current version doesn't have very many opportunities to bring morsels into circulation. One idea: every time the page turns, the first person to read from the new page gets one morsel, so you can acquire morsels by strategic interpretation of what counts as a paragraph-break.

My friend, Adam Widmer, died a few days ago, so I will not have this done by Today. I'll be postponing 1-4 weeks. Jim, if you still want to run this I can get you a version that doesn't have 'TODO' notes scribbled in it. (Or you can run it as is, if those notes add a flavor that seems useful)

Ah, unfortunate. I might try finishing it off in the hours before running it tonight; could you send the Keynote source file?
