Like Ferrari's previous "XX projects," the Ferrari FXX K can only be used on a racetrack and is not street legal. It is the latest addition to Ferrari's "Client-Test Driver" program, in which Ferrari keeps the car for you and brings it to Ferrari track events and races when you want to bring it out to play.

Currently based in Italy, the car no longer has a resale restriction and is available for either delivery to a private collection or use in Ferrari's Corse Clienti race program. With a mere 124 miles on the clock the car is in immaculate condition. There's no asking price listed, but the standard LaFerrari sells for around $3 million, so the rarer and more extreme FXX-K Evo version will likely be even more astronomically expensive. Best of all, Knight International is offering to convert the car to street-legal trim, just to make it even more desirable. If you're insane enough to want to own the world's first street-legal Ferrari FXX-K Evo, this is your chance.

Originally conceived as a track-only race car, seller Sasso Automotive claims this is the world's first road-legal Ferrari 488 Challenge. Yes, you read that correctly - this stripped-out, hardcore track weapon is legally allowed to transport you to the supermarket and back - in the UK.

Several modifications have made the mid-engined Italian easier to live with, such as a rearview camera. Look closely, and you'll note the spartan center console now has controls for the horn and hazard lights. Of course, the sticky racing rubber has been swopped out for road-legal Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Elsewhere, a pair of aftermarket-looking daytime running lights have been placed in the prominent front air vents.

The 488 GTB on which it's based is already a rapid car, but thanks to a crash diet, the Challenge is even faster. Tipping the scales at 2,954 lbs, the focused Italian is capable of reaching 60 mph in a mere 2.8 seconds. It's safe to assume this particular model is slightly heavier, given the various modification needed to make it road legal.

But, if you're looking for something to hammer on a quiet Sunday morning - or prefer to drive your weekend toy to the track and back - it does make a lot of sense. What's more, you'll be the only person on the road with a fully legal Ferrari 488 Challenge, so that's something. The Ferrari is listed as "Price On Application" which means, quite simply, if you have to ask, you can't afford it.

We wouldn't be surprised if Lanzante was tasked with transforming this race car into a road-going missile. Previously, the company has converted six examples of the fearsome McLaren P1 GTR into street-legal monsters. The UK-based racing specialists also set about making the world's first road-legal Pagani Zonda Revolucion, an exceedingly rare (one-of-five) masterpiece with an 800-hp V12.

The Ferrari FXX is a high-performance track-only developmental prototype built by Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari. The FXX is based on the street-legal flagship Enzo Ferrari. Production of the FXX began in 2005.

The result is a new idea of insanity in a street-legal Ferrari: The 0-to-100-kilometer-per-hour run (62 miles per hour) takes 2.85 seconds. You get to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 7.6 seconds, which is faster than many cars take to reach 100 km/h.

It comes in 600 pounds lighter than its 3,953 Lb street cousin. It also beats the 599GT Fiorano with 108 hp and 58 Lb-ft torque more. It did a sprint from zero to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds without the launch control and limited to 29 units.

The second one seems to be a naturally-aspirated 6.3-liter V12 which produces nearly 900 hp at 9500 rpm, and accelerates from 0-60 in a claimed 2.8 seconds, with carbon-ceramic brakes to help haul it down from a nearly 250-mph top speed. Its only been driven 1,300 miles since new, which is low mileage for a streetcar, but a bit high for something originally made for track only.

However, there was a modified Edo Competition found in Germany which had been modified to be street-legal. The Edo Competition has been turned from a wrecked Enzo street car into a street-legal FXX tribute and dubbed the ZXX.

For a car to be street legal it has to conform to the local legislation in terms of roadworthiness. In the United States that becomes a challenge since each State controls its standards within its jurisdiction. There are, however, a couple of general characteristics that are common to all of them. Those are:

Le Man cars can be made street legal but they are not built for the public roads in any way. They have plastic windows and the engine will typically have to be replaced or modified to reduce the noise levels.

There are those supercars which have been inspired by Le Mans designs. Yes, the Le Mans would have headlights and many of the other requirements lending to being street legal. The fact that they have plastic windows and their emission levels, would just make it too expensive to convert.

That's right. This car is basically one of one. The owner took it back to Ferrari and convinced the Prancing Horse ($) to alter this car to make it legal for road use in the owner's native England. That means taillights, turn signals, a handbrake, and a system that can raise and lower the nose were all fitted to this particular car. While the rest of the FXX owners have to stop and load their cars on the trailer before leaving the circuit, this one can drive all the way home.

Wisely, all of the bits that made this legal for track-use only have been retained. They can be refitted to the car if desired. But we urge the future owner not to do that. This is still a wildly capable machine, and it's the only one of its kind in which can make runs to the grocery store. Theoretically, you could also hit the 247 mph top speed along the way.

Never before did a street-legal Ferrari sports car deliver a driving experience as close to a Formula 1 racecar as the two open-top "Icona" special models Monza SP1 and SP2. These two roadsters are designed in the "barchetta" style lacking a large windshield and are a reminiscence of the Ferrari classics 166 MM, 750 Monza and 860 Monza. NOVITEC makes this experience even more intense: With engine tuning to 621 kW / 844 hp resulting from the installation of a tailor-made high-performance exhaust system and metal catalysts. The exhaust comes with optional 999 fine gold plating that dissipates heat particularly effectively. In concert with sport springs, staggered hi-tech forged wheels with diameters of 21 and 22 inches make the handling even more agile. They were developed specifically for these single-seat or two-seat roadsters in cooperation with American wheel manufacturer Vossen. Fitting the model designation, the photos show the SP1 refined by NOVITEC at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. The single-seat Ferrari Monza SP1 like its two-seat counterpart is powered by the most potent twelve-cylinder engine in the history of the sports car manufacturer from Maranello. In order to optimize the performance of the 6.5-liter engine further, the power unit experts of NOVITEC, the world-renowned refinement specialist for Ferrari automobiles, developed a high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts. Thanks to sophisticated exhaust headers and reduced exhaust backpressure, the system coaxes an additional 25 kW / 34 hp from the naturally aspirated V12 engine. At the same time, peak torque grows by 61 Nm. 621 kW / 844 hp at 8,450 rpm and 780 Nm of torque at 7,100 rpm make the tuned barchetta even sportier, give it even faster throttle response and further improve acceleration across the entire rev range. As a result, this NOVITEC performance package makes the driving experience even more intense. Consequently, the performance on the road is further optimized to boot. From rest, it takes just 2.8 seconds to reach a speed of 100 km/h. The top speed is far north of 300 km/h.

Ferrari has unveiled SF90 XX Stradale, its first-ever racetrack hypercar from the XX series that can be driven on roads and streets. The road-legal Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale draws much of its design and performance from its sibling SF90 Stradale, but Ferrari tweaks its power and aerodynamics to further boost the hypercar for road use. The slimmer build and visible air vents come through as the initial allure of the hypercar.

To simply put it, the SF90 XX Stradale is a road-legal version of the SF90 Stradale supercar which features, among others, a fixed rear wing that enables better downforce at high speeds as it sprints on highways and city roads. Ferrari has brought out SF90 XX Stradale from its XX Program, a research and development section of the car company which aims to test features that will then be implemented in Ferrari production vehicles.

The shape of the rear wing was designed in a way that allows it to effectively control and interact with the airflow and pressure systems that occur around the wing. Even the tail of the hypercar has been redesigned for better aerodynamic performance. Carbon-fiber elements are visible throughout the hypercar, and it also has unique wheel rims with aerodynamic profiles. Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale seamlessly combines racing-inspired design elements with the practicality of a road-legal vehicle.

F1 sound for the Ferrari 360 and that still legal? This wish is finally fulfilled by the Kline Innovation exhaust system. Due to the ECE-permission you can drive this exhaust in Germany, Switzerland and many other countries legally. Pure enjoyment and no problems with the police!

Based upon the near-1000bhp hybrid series-production supercar flagship, this XX version of the SF90 wears all-new high-downforce bodywork, receives a modest gain in power (17bhp from the 4-litre twin-turbo V8 and 13bhp from the battery-electric hybrid system) and boast a suite of latest-gen electronics controlling the powertrain, suspension, active aerodynamics and braking systems to maximise its capabilities on track while retaining road legality.
