similar to how we would use the oculus rift but using mixed reality instead of virtual reality. Currently we cannot augment our models with Enscape (this would be a good feature) but the ability to be withing an actual environment and see model within and the power of Enscape...I guess just dreaming out loud.

I am having issues with panning and orbitting in Archicad when Enscape is open. When Enscape is open, every time I press shift + mmb to orbit or mmb to pan Archicad every other orbit/pan action doesn't work.

I have updated to the latest version of Archicad, 26.5002 and the latest version of Enscape, 3.5.2+ 112393. The problem persists. I have also tried it with Archicad 26.4032 and Enscape 3.5.1+ 109642 as well

Thank you for your response. The problem doesn't take place in Enscape, it takes place in Archicad when Enscape is open. The orbit and pan functions within Archicad turn problematic when Enscape is open, even though my hardware should be easily able to handle it. This problem came into existence when I updated to Enscape 3.5, but after downgrading again or trying different gpu driver versions, the problem persists.

The Enscape SketchUp real time rendering plugin provides you with the ability to render, walkthrough, flythrough, create animations, and virtually experience your model in 3D with incredible simplicity.

Using Enscape as your SketchUp renderer can help you bring your visualizations to life since Enscape comes with a built-in asset library with over 1,900 high-quality assets, a materials editor and lighting options for SketchUp.

Finding the best perspective for architectural rendering is an art, not a science, and we can all get better at it by understanding a few basic principles for exterior perspective rendering with the best practices outlined in this article.

This could be a very quick interim fix, although I do agree that 9 months (with no guarantee that that won't change and take even longer) is a long time to be charging the Mac user a full price for without even offering access to the assets in a different way.

Hey suguru , please have some patience with us. The real story here is that software development is a hard to predict, constantly changing task - especially on two operating systems at the same time - and we really can't just copy what works on Windows and paste it onto Mac. We're working hard to improve our ways to maintain both Mac and Windows together, but this, too, takes time. For now, we can offer Enscape for Mac on SketchUp, Archicad and Vectorworks, on the level of a few Windows releases back, with Rhino soon to follow, by the way on the same license that you can use Enscape on both Mac and Windows machines with. We're doing our best to predict when a feature will be released, but we also don't want to give reason for false expectations. That's what I think may come across as not enough transparency. But be assured all of us want to deliver the best experience for all Enscape users as soon as possible.

thanks for the reply! I see. alternatively in the image properties of the main menuthere could be a function to reduce play a bit with the material / appearence of the 3d model inserted from the Library, like reducing the saturation or making them slighty transparent...

talking about copyright reasons... is it a problem to use the assets that show - for example, the Eames Lounge Chair in a rendering made in enscape to public? or comes enscape3d with the licence to use all the assets without copyright issues with the rightfull owner of the design assets?

With this update, you can enjoy the newest features just released with Enscape 3.3. Activate Synchronized Views to navigate your Revit model and see the same view in the Enscape rendering window. Add building surroundings with the Site Context feature, export renders with transparent backgrounds with the Alpha Channel, enhance projects with new education-themed assets and materials, and much more!

While we cannot offer any further additional official support for this version you can acquire a previous release of Enscape for Mac here which should still be compatible with non M1/M2 chips.

Enscape allows you to generate 360 panoramas in both stereo and mono. Stereo exports can be used with Google Cardboard. Panoramas exported from Enscape can be saved locally as a file or uploaded into the cloud where mono panoramas from the same CAD project can be combined to make a Gallery or a Tour that can help to showcase a project.

Individual panoramas are assigned a QR code which can be scanned to open the panorama on a mobile device, for example. Once a panorama has been uploaded to the cloud, whether single panoramas or sets of panoramas that are created as either a Gallery or Tour, they can be shared via a link, a QR code, or direct via email. These can then be viewed with a web browser on both desktop computers or mobile devices.

Hovering your mouse over any of the panorama thumbnails in the Upload Management dialog will display a set of buttons, as well as some information about which project the panorama is associated with, when it was created, its resolution, and if it is a mono or stereo panorama.

The last button, a cloud with a line through it, will remove the panorama from the cloud if clicked. The panorama will remain in the Upload Management window until deleted via the Delete panorama button.

If your panoramas are created in stereo, then these will not be available for selection for a Gallery or Tour, as only mono panoramas are supported. Mono panoramas are listed in the Enscape Account Upload area along with a small thumbnail of the panorama. Stereo panoramas will have a generic icon next to them instead. You will also notice the distinction is also made under the Type column.

In contrast to creating a Gallery, a Tour can have two methods of deploying waypoints (or hotspots) within a set of panoramas to allow navigation between those panoramas. Show 2 waypoints will only show a maximum of 2 waypoints in a single panorama. These lead to either the Next or the Previous panorama which are set out in the editing strip at the bottom of the browser window.

Once the Gallery / Tour has been saved, it will be listed in your Enscape Account with an associated Gallery / Tour icon as well as being named under the Type column. From here you can move, share, rename, or delete a Gallery / Tour, and this is explained fully in the Manage Uploads article.

I did some changes in Enscape material editor but it was not showing any changes. yes I know PBR material I downloaded few from ambientCG. I just started with material so for floors I didnt done any thing I was working first on ottoman. I want it to velevt fabric look.

With some materials even when You use PBR difference is not obvious. And some aspects of material require quite skillful play with lights to fully show its properties. Thats why I said Your scene is very evenly lighted.. in this light all look similar. Like reflective material shows it very well if You look against quite strong light, and on specific angles only very often.

This is ENS material.. Maybe Try to go with settings of the material to extremely high values just to see if it really does or doesn't react to changes.. and it is easier as well to catch good angle and light when material is exaggerated.

sorry for late reply... not very new to SketchUp. I figured it out how I can change Material in Sketchup. I was not very familiar with PBR , did some research to understand it little better but I am still learning about it.

with bart do you mean the metal base of my ottoman?? I am working on materials. I got stuck with my throw I can't map material on it the way I want to. so I was searching for tutorials to understand it.

this is the updated picture of my project. I am facing problems with lighting my Enscape time is set to 9:00 AM but I cant see light through windows. my lightning is not very good its not giving me a natural look.

Hello,
I've been using Sketchup 2022 with an old version of Enscape on my Macbookpro M1 just fine.
Today I updated Enscape. After updated, I open SU but it crash. Then I restart my Mac and open SU again. I notice it opened without Enscape. There's no Enscape menu bar, and in the drop down Extension menu there's also no Enscape. I open Extension Manager, Enscape is there, enabled and signed (pic).

It is very unfortunate because I started my trial, but I haven't been able to use it for at least 1 second. I hope someone can help me with this problem because the Enscape Support is not helping on the problem.

I am writing here because I have waited 16 business days (which is 6 days longer than the maximum amount of time that the email that I received said that it would take to hear back from the Enscape support team) to get my issue addressed, which I emailed to educa...@enscape3d.com on March 1st. The issue is that, despite me not having any active versions of Enscape on any other computers that I own, whenever I open the Enscapeaboutcommand command in Rhino, it says that my license has been deactivated because I have exceeded the allotted number of seats. If someone could please make it so that the I am able to activate my license on this computer again, that would be great.
