Region 4N Contest -- October 4-10

Pilots,

The Mid-Atlantic Soaring Association (M-ASA) is hosting the return of the Region 4 North Contest, October 4–10, 2026, at our airport W73 in Fairfield, Pennsylvania.

October is one of the best times of year to fly in the Mid-Atlantic. Expect beautiful fall scenery, comfortable temperatures, and excellent soaring conditions. Our airport has excellent facilities with three private runways (2 grass and 1 paved) and the area also offers abundant landable fields with access to wave, ridge and thermal soaring, making it an ideal area for both experienced competitors and pilots looking to fly their first regional contest.

We're especially fortunate to have Erik Mann back as Contest Director, and his professionalism and organization will ensure a safe, efficient, and enjoyable week for everyone.

Whether you're chasing a podium finish or simply looking to gain contest experience in a welcoming environment, we'd love to have you join us.
