When trying to make an annual donation to OLC, I found this message:

First of all, we’d like to thank you for supporting the OLC!

Due to recent developments we aren't accepting donations any longer.

Does anyone know what are the "recent developments"?   Is OLC about to go offline?  Will our flights be preserved if this happpens?

OLC has been a big contribution to the sport.

Yes sounds like OLC is shutting down.
This site might be useful, but it's not available/overloaded at the moment:

And yes no doubt there will be efforts to preserve such a large chunk of gliding history, if OLC are open to that.

Just as easy to mass upload all your flights from your log file folder. Did that for all flights since I had a logger in 1999

How do you do that exactly Tony? I can get to my log files but cannot see how to do all of them, only 1 flight at a time?

Go to your file folder on your PC and select all the log files and drag them into the upload box

However this is much more error prone in terms of flight settings, as the WeGlide upload logic is optimized for single uploads. When doing lots of files at once, the aircraft type is very regularly set incorrectly (which will be very time consuming to fix on hundreds of flights).
I highly recommend using the migration tool, as it will set the correct aircraft on WeGlide based on the one originally set on OLC and will also transfer the comments below your flights.
The warning message on olc2weglide seems to be a faulty check,  as it seems to be working fine.

I have tried to move my OLC flights over to We glide but I get an error referring to my registration  AA-0000.
Anyone know what that means?

I get multiple errors when I try it. After trying it several times it now says user not found.

they want you to enter N-XXXX For your -31 enter N-444R. they get confused if you try to include the last letter if there are more than 4 alpha numeric characters in the field.

Hi Pilots
I am getting an error on a lot of flight upload attempts.  I was successful in most of my earlier flights.  Later ones not so much.  Does anyone know what this error is and how to correct it? WeGlide: Could not parse JSON response: Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0) Thanks for any help you can offer.

Just retry. That error seems to be WeGlide not coping with the speed you were uploading.

OLC did a great service for the sport of soaring.  That team deserves a big thank you and to be memorialized in soaring history.

Fortunately, Weglide can take OLC's place with some notable improvements.

It would be great if Weglide would have handled the migration of all the content from OLC to Weglide for us, other than each pilot doing it themselves. This will not only save time and effort but will preserve all the data instead of a small portion.
I am hoping we can hear what Weglide team recommends.

I doubt there is much good will between the two platforms. OLC should
approach WeGlide to offer to help with some sort of integration if
thats what OLC users want rather than the other way round.
