I have used WX Block and Seal wax regularly on my my DG glider for around 2 decades and the gelcoat is still in terrific condition. I don't see an equivalent product out there. What are others using in it's place?

I was looking for that last week, didn't see it on Wing&Wheels. Anyone contact them for what they may offer now?

Fidel Ramirez of One Air Composites in Moriarty recommended Shurhold Products. I have used the polish and wax for a couple of years.

Does it protect against UV rays?

Star Brite has been on the market for a number of years.  It has PTFE and UV protectants in is formula.  It is sold for boats made of composites.  Here is the link:

I have had great success with products manufactured by Finish First  https://finishfirstpolish.com/

Available from the manufacturer as well as on Amazon

I have been using Finish First Polish on my polyurethane-finished ASW-27 for the past 9 years since its refinish. It goes on easily and readily buffs off with a deep shine and is claimed to offer UV protection. Typically I apply two coats as directed twice a year.

They also make Finish First Marine Polish which is described for gelcoat surfaces. We used this product on our club ships with good results.
