Am adding an SXhawk and already have 4 gps reciever pucks for other instruments.  The hawk would add a fifth and there is no room left.  Has anyone used a signal splitter with any sucess?  If so, recommendations please.

I see Richard at CraggyAero has a listing on his website's antenna page for one, with pictures. Might be worth a call.  Only drawback I can think of, is a IGC Flight Recorder has to use a specified GPS data source (in the approval document) for the IGC file to be valid, so contest/badge pilots might want to run their FR GPS separately (or use it as the primary GPS on the system).
Cheers

OK I see the one from Craggy and can find others similar, but the real question is has sombody actually used something like this and what was the result?

I have successfully used one from this source: https://www.instockwireless.com/gps-splitters.htm. I use one gps puck antenna for all gps-dependent devices without issues (Flarm, LX9000 and Mode S transponder. My IGC file submissions to WeGlide and OLC are consistently validated, but cannot speak to contest or record claims. ADS-B PAPR reports from FAA come back consistently clean, also. One thing I would caution is to use the best quality, factory recommended cables of appropriate length to each device, along with a quality antenna.

another note: I got my antenna from Craggy, with custom cable to appropriate length. Worked like a charm. Other vendors may sell similar.
