First, the subject line is incorrect: I only tested Navigator - don't know why I included Oudie N.
Richard and I worked on this over the phone, and finally concluded it's most likely the phone that is causing the problem,, not the Navigator software, not the database, and not how I'm loading the database into Navigator on the phone. A big clue was the built-in "default" database also did not display any airport info beyond elevation and radio frequency. The phone uses a supported version of Android (ver 9), and the software (2.14.1) is the latest software. I've sent an inquiry to Naviter, hoping they can tell me how get the Galaxy past this glitch; otherwise, seems to do everything else properly.
Now that I'm confident the lack of airport data display is specific to my phone, I've returned to my original plan to replace my Oudie 2 with an Oudie N IGC, and ordered one from Richard (Craggy Aero). The discount ends Jan 30, so I'll get that. Also ordered a Flarm dongle.
