Ventus 3 / JS-3 RES battery rack

At the request of a Ventus 3 owner who converted to the self-launch electric option. I developed a rack to hold the battery packs upright for transport or charging. The JS-3 RES uses the same pack but inverted. If there is interest, I will fabricate these for sale. The JS-3 RES model will require some redesign, but nothing too significant. The construction is of 14-gauge 1"x1" powdercoated steel square tubing with end caps and a tie-down strap with buckle. Contact me at mark (at) mmfabrication (dot) com or 50five 24nine 016one.

Beautiful work Mark.  

I would add casters, seems like every time I put something heavy or hard to pickup, in one spot

it's in the way of something else, and I need to move it.

I am kind of planning on having optional casters that can be retrofitted. This was a quick job for a customer who wanted it to transport in the back of his pickup, and casters didn't seem like a good idea. FYI, I have received one order, so I have a batch of four at the powder coating company. Should be ready in a week or so.

I agree casters in the back of a pickup bad, real bad when someone pulls out in front of you.
