Kigo on Stefly, it’s not that grainy!

I have been using Tophat as a flight computer for years. But, it has not kept up with updates on newer devices. 

Kigo, is an updated version of TP. Slawek and myself (advisor) have been working on Kigo the past 3-4 months. The menus have been simplified and user interface is is way better(once set up). ( I tried XCSoar, but found it frustrating)

Benefits of Kigo..

1) it is available on Google play store and the Apple Store. (It is free,, Don’t let the disclaimer fool you)
2) It works with Phones, Droid, Apple and   If you have a newer vario or Flarm, it accepts Blue tooth signals. It  is great for clubs, (you can set up different user profiles) (I’m using Stefly getting data from my CN vario and flarm, via RJ45s.
3) Kigo is being updated on a regular basis.
4) If you fly contests, all the task protocols have been updated, including a great Mat function. (God I hate Mats)
5) you can manipulate the info boxes at the touch of the box.
6) you can select different terrain colors and types, change font sizes and much more.
7) You can have Flarm Targets on you Kigo display. There are many more display options…
8) If you have a phone you can have a glide computer, or like me, I have a dedicated display with Stefly.

The bad news, no manual, it’s kind of learn as you go but, a manual is in process.

I highly recommend Kigo for simplicity of use. (It can be frustrating setting profiles up) 

Below are some simple Pilot profiles. You can manipulate Pilot profiles to your liking. One sample is without the terrain displayed. I apologize for the dark half moon at the top of the screens. I’m out of town and using a Samsung phone, you can rotate it 180 degrees.
