Yes, under the MOSAIC rule, sport pilots (or higher-certificated pilots flying a powered LSA under sport-pilot privileges) are now allowed to perform limited aerial work, including glider towing, for compensationaviationnewstalk.comFacebook.
So if your powered aircraft qualifies as a light-sport category aircraft under MOSAIC, and you hold at least a sport-pilot certificate (or higher), you are now explicitly permitted to conduct glider towing as aerial work, even if it’s for hire.
