Attempting to replace the felt on the interior of my trailer. This includes the wing-rests, the fabric at the rear of the trailer and the protective felt that is bolted to the inside of the top to protect the wing-tips. Just hoping someone has taken this on before and can provide some sage counsel or 'watch out for XYZ' before I tear into it...

I have done felt inside tail dollies, the trailer wingtip hold downs and the mid trailer leading edge bottom rests.

Tail dollies I use heavy felt from McMaster-Carr. I get small rolls of different thickness. Usually 3/8' OR 1/2', depends on what is there. and attach with Weldwood contact cement. On the felt side, I do a heavy layer of cement and let soak in. Do another layer once dry and the surface you're bonding to and attach.
LE rests I sometimes use self adhesive felt from Amazon. Just get surface clean first.
