After getting bored of the awkward juggle of downloading .TSK files out of
soarscore.com then copy & paste them across to the appropriate XCSoar folder I went on the hunt for a better alternative. Something closer to the simple process provided by Naviter.
I finally stumbled across
XComps, an Android app that simply downloads the files (task, waypoints or airspace) you want directly into your XCSoar directory. So easy.
It recycles the same file names so once you have them in your XCSoar config downloading the latest task simply replaces the old one and you're good to go.
If you have multiple XCSoar type installs (I have both XCSoar and XCSoarJet) it allows you to choose which to download to. You do need the latest versions that store their data in android/media, not the old android/data.
Highly recommended.
