My purpose in posting about Shape-Coding was to point out that the shape of controls is an important feature that has not been utilized in  our sailplanes. The operator knows by the SHAPE which control he is grasping! The ASW-20 is probably the best example of ship that could use SHAPE CODING. All the controls are located on the left side, all the same shape  and all the same color (black)! 

Amazon has very large Heat-Shrink up to 6” in circumference, in various colors that could be used to cover a modified handle.  Anyone interested in modifying existing handles can contact me for my ideas on how existing handles could be modified into ROUND for gear, SQUARE for spoilers and AIRFOIL SHAPE for spoilers.
