Yes, this is on for Sat Sep 6, 2025... Don't recall seeing this posted here...  This has become one of the main flying events in Southern California. All flights... straight out!

The Dust Devil Dash is next month!  Let's hope Saturday, September 6 will make up for all the soft days we've had at MVA this season.  Sunday September 7 will be the alternate date.

Please read the attached Rules and Procedures, as there are new (and welcome) changes this year.

Noticed the rules do not make it obvious... Flying is out of Mountain Valley Airport in the Tehachapi Valley. Traditionally, the preferred straight direction of flight is toward the N and NE into Nevada, but there have been flights toward the Mexican Border and even Northern Arizona. Attached below is the *.cup waypoint database created by Jim Staniforth.
