Hi.

At this site is a patch for openwrt so one can use rpi kernel..
It makes brcm2708 target use latest table kernel while writing: 3.12.2
and patches it to kernel available at https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/tree/rpi-3.12.y

No more mmc0 final write errors or other problems on raspberry pi..

Oh, the patch. You can find it from: https://sites.google.com/site/variousopenwrt/rpi-patch

Hello Osku,

Thank you for your patch. Now my raspberry pi is working well with latest Barrier Breaker and Linux 3.12.2. The kernel also  recognize my RT5370 wifi dongle.

Now I want to connect my EasyBox 803A. I have tried several tutorials from Internet but no success. Do you have any idea about how to config a wifi dongle to connect a router ?

Regards,

Xue Liu

I haven't got any wifi dongle to work as AP properly with Raspberry Pi and I have tried several, most propable reason for this is USB power. With one dongle I got my SSID to display and almost was able to join and then it was gone again.
I do not know which facilities RT5370 uses and for your unfortunate, I am quite busy, so not going to find out, but there are several, hostapd, then there was that "mode" for hostapd which needed a wrapper script.. so on..

Do it like you normally do it on OpenWRT and read the docs at openwrt.org. If you don't know available options and want to make this easier, install luci- I find that almost always fastest and easiest way to fiddle around things like this that I cannot remember..
