The luncheon provides the opportunity to foster discussion on the role of women in robotics and automation, inspire girls and promote collaborations and initiatives to advance women in leadership. This luncheon is open to student attendees offering the chance to meet and interact with and leaders from RAS. At ICRA 2015, the format of the luncheon will be modified slightly, each table will be associated with a focus area and several discussion topics. Leaders will be paired with tables according to their interests and background. Students will be asked to indicate topics of interest prior to the luncheon and assigned to tables. The hope is that this format will encourage

Being held on Friday 29 May, the Lunch with Leaders (LwL) format is being improved and your help is needed. As in the past, students will be joined by respected RAS leaders at each table. To encourage more focused conversation, each table will be associated with a focus area and several discussion topics. Leaders and students will be matched based on the topics of interest.

On behalf of the Membership Activities Board, Chapter and International Activities Committee within the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, we invite all RAS chapter chairs or a chapter representatives to attend this half-day workshop.
The objective of this workshop is to facilitate communication of local chapters and the IEEE Robotics & Automation Society and to encourage a knowledge share among leaders in terms of best practices from your chapter. In this workshop, representatives from successful chapters will share their experiences, lessons in organizing the local activities and recruiting more members to join. Representatives of RAS will provide tips to take advantage of chapter resources
and how to get support from RAS.

About ICRA - IEEE International Conference on Robotics & Automation
ICRA is the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society's flagship conference and is a premier international forum for robotics researchers to present their work. The 2015 conference will be held 26-30 May 2015 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington, USA.
The conference will include plenary and mini-plenary sessions, contributed paper sessions, workshops and tutorials, an industrial forum, exhibits, and robot challenges as well as some events that are new to ICRA, such as a Ph.D. forum, a career fair, and a developing countries forum.
