In this workshop, representatives from successful chapters will share their experiences, lessons in organizing the local activities and recruiting more members to join. Representatives of RAS will provide tips to take advantage of chapter resources and how to get support from RAS.   Registration is required for this FREE event. Speak with the experts for advice on how to make sure your conference is executed flawlessly!     Space is limited, so we encourage you to register as soon as your availability is confirmed.   Please register for this FREE workshop on-line, click here.   To register by email or ask questions, please contact: r...@ieee.org RAS Sponsored Luncheons at ICRA - Click to Register Open to All ICRA Attendees RAS Women In Engineering (WIE) Luncheon Wednesday, 27 May 2015  12:15-13:45 The luncheon provides the opportunity to foster discussion on the role of women in robotics and automation, inspire girls and promote collaborations and initiatives to advance women in leadership.  As the goal for this event is to be more than a lunch for women, but a lunch with women.  Therefore, men are more than welcome to participate and enjoy the discussion. Takako Hashimoto, 2015 IEEE WIE Chair, will be the guest speaker discussing the current initiatives of IEEE WIE, major opportunities and future challenges. RAS - LWL Lunch with Leaders (for Students)  Friday, 29 May 2015 12:15-13:45   This luncheon is open to student attendees offering the chance to meet and interact with and leaders from RAS. At ICRA 2015, the format of the luncheon will be modified slightly, each table will be associated with a focus area and several discussion topics. Leaders will be paired with tables according to their interests and background.  Students will be asked to indicate topics of interest prior to the luncheon and assigned to tables. The hope is that this format will encourage discussion and create a valuable experience for all attendees. To help identify topics, contact RAS SAC Leaders.  RAS Young Professionals (YP) Luncheon Friday, 29 May 2015 12:15-13:45   Under the umbrella of IEEE Young Professionals program, the Robotics & Automation Society is further empowering its young professionals through the RAS Young Professionals (YP) group.
