I have some heartbreaking news to share with you.
While Illinois Pro-Life Action is fighting HARD to stop the radical
Abortion Amendment and SB4011 in Springfield, Governor JB Pritzker and
the blood thirsty pro-aborts are working on new legislation that will
guarantee the murder of thousands of babies each year!
And if we don’t fight back, they could fast track this agenda.
I’ll explain the details of this legislation and the impact this
will have on the unborn in just a moment.
But
I want to be clear: I am asking every Illinoisan who cares about the
unborn to sign the petition in the link below and also send along a
generous donation immediately.
It’s no secret that Illinois has some of the worst laws in America
on the books when it comes to abortion.
Every single year, an astonishing 59,000
babies in Illinois are put to death for the crime of
being ‘inconvenient.’ It’s barbaric.
But JB Pritzker wants more -- a lot more.
That’s why he and his allies are working on introducing
legislation that will require every college in Illinois to have an
abortion clinic ON CAMPUS that MUST offer medical abortions on demand
to any student who asks!
Legislation like this is moving in states like Washington and it’s
clear that Springfield politicians like the idea.
When I first read this, my heart sank through the floor as
I realized the ramifications this law would create.
Not only will thousands of young women now be offered easy access
to abortions, but many of them will be making this decision far away
from home and parents, and under the pressure of pro-abort “school
nurses” and “doctors” looking to make money off the exploitation of
college girls.
But just as bad, these “college clinics” will be paid for
with your taxpayer dollars!!
Worse still, this legislation does not offer any exceptions for
Christian colleges that are staunchly pro-life, meaning if we -- as
followers of Christ -- don’t assist in aborting babies, our colleges
will be viciously punished by Governor Pritzker.
Make no mistake: Pro-Abort Pritzker and his allies are ‘all in’ on
passing this bill.
Thankfully, there are still ways for pro-lifers like you
and me to FIGHT against this legislation and defend the
babies.
Many politicians are concerned that passing such an extreme bill
will have dire consequences for them in the future.
You see, several of them in Springfield won their elections by very
narrow margins, some by just a few hundred votes!
And as we saw all across America in the last election, being a
radical pro-abort did not have nearly the effect the Left wanted and
some pro-aborts are concerned the tide is turning against them.
And they know that if they continue to vote on such extreme
abortion bills, Illinois Pro-Life Action will sound the alarm ahead of
this year’s election!
That’s why Illinois Pro-Life Action is keeping our firepower
focused on the legislature, to remind them that if they vote yes on
this bill, everyone in their districts will know.
The fact is, some people want to say that the killing of unborn
babies is still a “right” and should be protected as it is.
But we reject that. We believe that each child is made
in God’s image, and must be protected from the moment of conception,
all the way until natural death and ILPLA is here to make sure the
politicians in Springfield get that message!
Your
signed petition is an important part of that
effort.
Our goal is to flood the entire State Senate and the House with
hundreds of thousands of signed petitions, but especially Democrats in
vulnerable districts.
If vulnerable Democrats start feeling the heat, they will start
thinking about voting no on this bill (or just not
show up that
day.) Not because they are suddenly pro-life, but because they want to
keep their job in future elections!
Will we be successful? With God’s help, I think we can
win!
But in the end, it’s not up to you, or me.
Ephesians 1:3-4 says “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ… even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the
world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.”
So as pro-life Illinoisans, our duty is to walk and fight
blamelessly on behalf of the pre-born who He chose before all time. We
are called to fight in faith, knowing that God decides when and how to
add His increase.
But God expects us to do our part; to do the work.
That’s why Illinois Pro-Life Action’s team is working around the
clock to identify and mobilize the largest army of pro-life voters
that the politicians in Springfield have ever seen!
We’re activating this grassroots army using:

Targeted digital ads; which allow us to reach
hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers across the state, giving them the
facts that the pro-aborts in Springfield want to hide. These ads are
very cost-effective, too, as they are re-shared.

A powerful texting program; text-based alerts
are one of the most effective tools at our disposal because they
appear right on pro-lifers’ phones and have an almost 100% viewing
rate. And they are very cost effective, too.

The biggest direct mail and email program
possible; nothing penetrates Big Tech’s
censorship more thoroughly these days than direct mail and email
communication. In fact, mail and email programs are more important
than ever for pro-lifers as they cannot be ‘deplatformed!’

Radio and TV ad when floor votes are
scheduled; nothing reaches mass quantities of pro-lifers
faster than a radio and TV blitz. Sure they are expensive, but our ads
will hit hard and are worth every penny, especially in tight
districts.
The program has one purpose: to apply maximum pressure on
a targeted list of the most vulnerable Democrats in
the legislature.
But ILPLA can’t do this without your help.
Please
sign the petition that we’ve prepared for you, so your State
Representative and Senator know exactly where you stand on protecting
the unborn, and what you expect of them.
But that’s not all.
I hope that you’ll prayerfully consider an urgent donation
of $100, or even $250 to help me pay for the plan I laid out
above!
I know that’s asking for a lot. But JB Pritzker is trying to show
the whole country how pro-abortion he is and he’s out for blood --
literally.
The stakes couldn’t be higher, and this is happening NOW.
If Pritzker is successful in forcing Christian colleges to put a
baby-killing office right on campus, the moral fabric of our society
will be torn in two and the number of abortions in Illinois will
skyrocket!
But
if $250 or $100 is simply not possible, I hope that you’ll at least
consider $75, $50, or $25 -- so that we can cover the cost of our
program that’s already underway.
