Good Morning --Illinois Prayer Warriors,

 

This is an emergency alert we are sending out again!

 

Governor Pritzker has until January 24, 2026 to veto SB 1950 – the Assisted Suicide bill. If he does not veto the bill or if he takes no action, the Assisted Suicide bill will automatically become law. We want our voices to be heard on this issue as Governor Pritzker is hearing from both sides on this issue!

 

Therefore, there are 2 ways you can let Governor Pritzker hear your voice!

 

1. Click on this link to send on email and in your message ask him to please veto the Assisted Suicide Bill --SB 1950:   https://gov.illinois.gov/contact-us/voice-an-opinion.html 
2.  Or you can call 312-814-2121 (the Governor’s office) and ask the Governor to veto SB 1950. If you cannot reach a live person—leave a message.

 

 

The Governor’s office is tallying the responses right now! Thank you for taking action on this today – and forwarding this email to others in Illinois so they can add their voices to speak out on this issue! And please continue to keep this issue lifted up in prayer!

That decision on when it is allowed also opens the door for others to place a value on a life and when to end it.  Right now, Governor Pritzker has the passed legislation that WITH HIS INACTION will automatically become law.
