Hello All,

I am new to Rapyuta and learning to work on it. Firstly i installed ROS fuerte over cloud and now i am trying to install rapyuta but its showing me an error in the very first installation instruction "fatal: --stateless-rpc requires multi_ack_detailed fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly"  in the terminal. How do i overcome this error, there are no much answers on the google, barely i could 2 solutions but did not work for me.

Kindly help me debug this error.

Regards,
Divya

Hello. Divya

As the git README notice says the project is deprecated. We are in the process of writing a new clean room implementation.  Hang in there We shall keep you posted as it progresses. That's said if. You really really need to use it for something I'd suggest send bigger debug logs or something

Hello Dhananjay,

I am trying to use this for MS research work. I started rapyuta as it interested me, my prof and team leader but to continue the installation to play with it is very Hard as I am incurring many errors. The error occurs in the very first set up when i give the command " sudo ./install.sh " i have pasted the error log that you asked earlier, below. Kindly help me overcome the error so i can install and work on rapyuta.

The main error is "gcc: error: missing argument to ‘-march=’
gcc: error: missing argument to ‘-march=’
error: Setup script exited with error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1"

Throws the same error thrice when it is trying to install the package "rce -core, rce-client, rce-console", and the script exits immediately.
kindly let me know why this error occurs?

Second question : "As you mentioned the alpha version has been deprecated, cant i use this now atleast for experiment purpose?"

Thanks & Regards,
Divya
