How to run freely hand-held mapping with the rapyuta-mapping opensource ?

Hello everyone, Hello @Gajamohan Mohanarajah !
With the rapyta-mapping opensource I am trying to make a 3D map from freely hand-held camera image sequence.
I am planing to use two laptops installed with ubuntu 12.04 ros-fuerte, one is working as a master, another one is working as a client with a asus xtion camera.
If it is possible? Has anyone ideas how to perform it?
