Michigan FRC State Championship

Hi Raptors,

Congratulations on qualifying for the Michigan FRC State Championship for the 3rd year in a row! Currently we have a total of 84 points and are ranked 72nd in the state.

Thanks for all your help during the Traverse City FIRST Robotics District Competition. Everything ran very smoothly for the most part and cleanup and breakdown went very quickly. Special thank you to Marla Gerber for being such an amazing Volunteer Coordinator.

Attached are the field trip forms for students going to the Michigan FRC State Championship. Sorry for all the paperwork but these forms need to be filled out and signed. Students are leaving at various times including around 1:15 pm tomorrow, 1 pm Thursday, after school Thursday and Friday morning at 7 am. We will return to Traverse City on Saturday and should be back around 9 pm.

The Michigan FRC State Championship will be held at Saginaw Valley State University this year. More information about states can be found here<http://www.firstinmichigan.org/events/eventInfo.php?id=70&program=frc>.

To help cover the cost of lunches and the hotel room, students should bring $30 per day. So if you are leaving on Wednesday, bring $90. If you are leaving on Thursday, bring $60. If you are leaving on Friday, bring $30. Checks can be made out to TCAPS. The team will provide a hotel room and lunch for the students. Breakfast will be provided at the hotel. Students will need to bring additional money for dinners and snacks.

The team will be staying at the Best Western Valley Plaza Inn in Midland.
