Hi,

Is there a way to configure Rapportive to only show 1 raplet and not the "Sign in with Linked in", "Sign in with Facebook" options or the profile picture?  Could this be provided?  For those of us that never intend to sign in to linked in or fb, the buttons and the richer links text is a waste of space, and for the emails that I associate with my raplet and want to use rapportive for, the face picture is generally just a question mark.

Thanks,
Tarun

Hi Tarun,

You can dismiss the sign-in buttons by just clicking the small grey
"do it later" to the right of them, though we currently don't have a
way to opt-out of showing a photo (after all, for many people, this is
the most useful part of Rapportive!).

One thing that we have considered is allowing you to put the raplet in
a different position, i.e. at the top of the sidebar instead of the
bottom. This would make it less annoying that there's still
information that you don't want to see, but without hiding it
completely. Would that be useful to you?

How much space does your Raplet need, out of interest?

Hi,

Repositioning the raplets would solve the issue I have.  I think that it would be very useful to configure which raplets are expanded by default and what order they should show up in.  Is this something that may be considered in future releases?  I'm attaching a screenshot that shows how little space raplets end up with in some situations.  Also, being able to remove the "To get richer profiles..." text or showing it at the very bottom would free up more space.  On netbooks with smaller screens, this becomes a bigger issue.

The image is very useful, but only when Rapportive finds an image.  It would be useful to have an option to hide the photo instead of showing a question mark image and to let raplets provide images.  The raplet I developed copies whatever info it finds from the stanfordwho page, so it varies from a few lines to the entire sidebar.

Thanks,
Tarun
