Regarding Live Storm

Dear all,

I am a new user of rapidstorm. It looks quite comfortable in the reconstruction of storm data.

I am using ANDOR IXON ULTRA EMCCD, with software Andor Solis for acquisition in my custom build system.

Can I use this software in live mode, means can reconstruction be done just with the acquisition.

I tried the Camera control option available in the menu, but this software get crashes as soon as I click on the option (32 bit Windows machine).

How can  I fix this bug. Do I need some driver/software to make Live Storm possible.

Hi Navneet,

the live storm option was rarely used and never fully developed. You'll need to put some development effort into it to make it work, but if you're planning to do that, it might be more sensible to take an established package like Micro Manager and hook rapidSTORM up to it. In any case, the current rapidSTORM doesn't have much more than a prototype, sorry.
