Hello everyone,

I'm proud to announce the new RapidSMS.org website! Based off the wiki specification, the website offers many new features over the previous website, including:
 • Individual/Organization user accounts - You can create an account for your organization or as an individual (via GitHub too!)
 • User contributed projects - submit your project and list it among the other RapidSMS projects around the world
 • Pluggable app index - Add your open source, pluggable RapidSMS project to the index here to share with the rest of the community
 • Powered by Django - Open issues and submit pull requests on GitHub
We're excited to add content to the site and show how awesome RapidSMS is, so please register and start adding your projects and packages!

Thanks,
Colin

Looks great!

How is the list of packages generated? I was quite surprised to see our casexml library on there (not bothered, but is not accurate).

Hey Cory

The list of packages are user contributed. I searched for rapidsms on pypi and added several (including casexml). All the info on the package page is pulled from pypi

Should i remove casexml?
Cheers

Yup, Evan's got it right. Anyone can submit a PyPI package once they've created an account. The website will automatically update the listing for new releases via the PyPI API. So anyone can submit a package to the index and even tag it with taxonomy. If a package get submitted that doesn't make sense, it can be flagged and removed.

Looks great!
There is just a trivial correction to be made on https://www.rapidsms.org/search/?q=mwana . The ampersand is broken in the sentence "which we’ve named “Results160? Appointment reminders for newborn children, or “RemindMi” (Mi = mothers & infants)"

Cheers,
Trevor
