Good day,

Please I was able to get the RapidPro instance running but on the login page the textboxes for username and password are not visible for inputting login details. I created the superuser using  sudo python manage.py createsuperuser

I have tried several versions but still getting the same issue, please someone should help me out on what I can do to get the login page fully functional.

Regards,
Tega

Hi Tega,

What browser version are you using? Are you using internet explorer by chance? You’ll want to make sure to use a modern browser to use rapid pro.

Also, make sure you ran npm install as part of your setup.

Thank you so much for your response.

Yes I am using modern browsers, tried it in both chrome and firefox with same output.

I had to run npm install again with no error message yet same output. I attached below the output am getting without the textboxes but when I click the sign in button I get the textboxes with the this field is required error message.

Please I need a way out of this

Thanks once again.

The dependency temba-components is not loading for you for some reason. I’d look in the console for a clue.

Wow, thank you Eric for pointing me in the right direction, initially when I installed the RapidPro it failed to run giving errors pointing to the -include "components-body.html" and -include "components-head.html" in the frame.haml file, when I comment them out the installation loads not knowing that was why the login page is not working.

I believe that error was because I did not successfully run the  npm install command initially.

Thanks a lot

Yup, that'll do it! Congrats on sorting it out.
